William F. Dolan

William "Bill" Dolan, 68, late of Oak Forest, formerly of Midlothian. Loving father of Ryan (Haley) Dolan and Matt (Megan) Dolan. Proud grandpa of Skyla, Trent, Shane, and Colin. Caring brother of James Jr. (Anne Dolan), Brian (Dawn), Ann (Michael) Burcham, and Michael (Debbi) Dolan. Dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Lifelong friend and former wife, Donna Dolan.

Bill grew up in Midlothian, where sports were a major part of his life from an early age. He carried that passion forward by coaching youth sports and supporting Chicago teams throughout his life. A proud Catholic, Bill was also a dedicated employee of the United States Postal Service for more than 30 years.

In his free time, Bill enjoyed fishing, cooking, especially grilling, shooting pool. He was a proud Chicago sports fan and a loyal friend who treasured the annual trips he shared with his longtime buddies. Above all, Bill enjoyed spending time with the people closest to him and will be remembered for his sense of humor and the friendships and memories he created.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12, 2026, from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 Harlem Avenue, Tinley Park, IL 60477. Funeral Service will commence on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
