Tamara Jo "Tammy" Thomas, 58, late of Tinley Park, Illinois. Beloved daughter of Margaret "Marge" (Dennis) Thomas-Shub nèe Guenzi and the late Bob (Leslie) Thomas. Loving sister of Rob (Eileen) Thomas, and a caring step-sister. Cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews. Dear niece, cousin, and friend to many.
Tammy went home peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was undoubtedly welcomed with open arms and eternal love into His heavenly kingdom.
A light in a world that often knows darkness, Tammy brightened every room she entered with her warm smile, infectious laughter, and kind spirit. She was a faithful and hardworking woman who approached life with determination, grace, and unwavering faith. Tammy enjoyed reading, dancing, completing word finds, watching her favorite soap opera, Days of Our Lives, and cheering on the Chicago Cubs. She found joy in life's simple pleasures and treasured the time spent with family and friends.
Tammy was a hugger through and through, always ready to embrace family, friends, and even those she had just met. Her hugs were genuine expressions of the love she carried in her heart and the joy she found in others. She was truly a special child of God whose faith shined brightly through her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love for those around her.
For 21 years, Tammy proudly worked at Burger King in Oak Forest and Tinley Park, where her dedication, reliability, and positive attitude left a lasting impression on coworkers, customers, and all who knew her. She was faithful in all she set out to do and touched countless lives through her loving heart, warm spirit, and enduring faith.
