Suzanne M. Keller

Suzanne M. "Sue" Keller, 55, late of Mokena, passed away surrounded by the love of her family.

Beloved daughter of Nancy and the late David Keller. Loving sister of Kristine, Michael (Catherine), and Michelle (Walter) Klein. Dear aunt of Wyatt and August Klein, and James and Emilee Keller. Sue was also the special companion of her beloved little Chihuahua, "Cake."

Sue was a dedicated employee of Palos Community Hospital, where she worked as a phlebotomist for 27 years. She was known for her strong work ethic, quiet determination, and the care she showed to the patients she served. Sue rarely complained and was so devoted to her work that she accumulated weeks upon weeks of unused PTO.

She enjoyed her annual trips to the Smoky Mountains, especially the tasty treats from the "Doughnut Friar," where she would wake early to make sure she got the freshest doughnuts. Even after her cancer diagnosis, Sue remained determined to return to work and continue living her life with strength and purpose.

In accordance with Sue's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Sue's family expresses their heartfelt appreciation for the many well wishes, prayers, and acts of kindness shown during this difficult time.
