Susan Mezykowski

Susan Rosalie Mezykowski (née Pistone), age 83, of Frankfort, Illinois formerly of West Haven, Connecticut, entered the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on August 20, 2025.

Beloved wife of David Mezykowski, with whom she shared a blessed marriage since April 16, 1977. Loving mother of Linda (Joe) Yarish and Angela (Craig) Ashley. Proud and caring grandmother of Shane Lang, Dustin (Nadia) Ruby, Erik (Ashley)Yarish, Grace (Marty) Fogarty, and Sloan Ashley. Cherished great-grandmother of eleven. Sue will also be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Born in New Haven, Sue attended St. Mary's High School. She carried a joyful spirit throughout her life and was a prayer warrior. A longtime member of Grace Fellowship Church in Mokena including being church secretary for many years, Sue's faith was at the heart of who she was, and she was often heard reminding others that she was "blessed."

Sue's passions including crocheting and watching the Chicago Cubs. Her greatest joy came from her family and the time spent with those she loved.

At Sue's request , cremation rites will be accorded. A Celebration of Sue's Life service will be announced shortly.
