Sandra "Sandy" L. Regan

Sandra "Sandy" L. Regan (née Tracy), age 74, late of Mokena, Illinois, passed away on November 4, 2026.

Sandy was a people person who enjoyed making connections and spending time with those around her. For more than 20 years, she was a familiar face behind the bar at VFW Post 9545 in New Lenox, where she made many friendships along the way. Her greatest joy, however, was her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved babysitting them when they were young, being a part of their lives, and watching them grow.

Sandy also enjoyed a little adventure and excitement. Whether traveling to Las Vegas, trying her luck with her daily lottery tickets, or spending time at the casinos, she always enjoyed having something to look forward to. She had a way of finding enjoyment in the things she loved and creating memories with the people who meant the most to her. She will be greatly missed.

Loving mother of Jeffrey (Lisa) Regan and Joseph (Amy) Regan. Beloved grandmother of LCPL Joshua Regan, Shawn Regan, Petty Officer Ashley (Petty Officer Brett Alford) Regan, and Adrian Regan. Caring sister of Evert (Leslie) Tracy, Jeanne (late LaVerne) Moulton, Ronald (Tina) Tracy, late Tom Tracy, late Rick (Sharon) Tracy, and the late Robert Tracy. Dear daughter of the late Evert and late Virginia Tracy. Kind aunt of several nieces and nephews. Cherished best friend of Tami (late John) Schilling
