Sandra "Sandy" J. Buergermeier

Sandra "Sandy" J. Buergermeier (nee Isenberg), age 60, late of Tinley Park, IL, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026. Sandy was a devoted mother, a loving family member, and a loyal friend whose kindness and warmth touched the lives of many. She dedicated many years of her career working as a legal secretary for various companies, where she was known for her hard work and attention to detail.

Sandy found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved spending time reading, taking long walks, and trying her luck with scratch-off tickets. She had a special love for animals and adored her beloved pets: Scrappy, Peanut, Daphne, and Batman, who brought her endless companionship and happiness.

Above all else, Sandy treasured time spent with her family. Her greatest joy came from being a mother and making memories with those she loved most, especially her son, Robert. Sandy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her caring heart, her strength, and the love she gave so freely to her family, friends, and animals.

Loving mother of Robert Buergermeier. Caring sister of Steve (Josephine) Isenberg, Gail (Ed) Graefen, Mark (late Sandra) Isenberg, Shelly Isenberg, and Teri (Mike) Alexander, and Julie (Tom) Hesse. Dear daughter of the late John and late Esther Isenberg. Kind aunt of several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Memorial Visitation, Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 S. Harlem Ave. Tinley Park, IL 60477. Interment will be Private.
