Russell Edward Dvorak, age 60, passed away on June 25, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved him deeply and countless memories that will forever be treasured.

Born on March 21, 1966, to Donald and Joanne Dvorak, Russell was raised in the Mokena area, where he built lifelong friendships and developed a love for the outdoors that stayed with him throughout his life.

For more than 25 years, Russell proudly worked as a Union Bricklayer. He took great pride in his craft, believing in the value of hard work and the satisfaction of building something that would stand the test of time.

Russell found his greatest peace outdoors. Whether he was casting a fishing line into the water, riding his motorcycle down an open road, or simply enjoying nature, he embraced every opportunity to experience life's simple pleasures. He had a remarkable sense of humor and genuinely loved making people laugh. His quick wit, easy smile, and kind heart made him someone others naturally enjoyed being around.

Above all else, Russell was a devoted son who made his family proud. His love for those closest to him was unwavering, and the bonds he shared with his family will remain a lasting source of comfort and strength.

Russell was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Holly Dvorak, in 1988, and by his father, Donald Dvorak, in 2020.

He is lovingly survived by his mother, Joanne Dvorak; his brother, Daniel Dvorak; his sisters, Cynthia Valerio and Darcy (Daniel) Simenson; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
