Ronald W. Drozek

Ronald W. Drozek, 93, late of Homer Glen, IL. U.S. Army Veteran. Beloved husband of the late Audrey Drozek. Loving father of Ron and Frank (Marsha). Proud grandfather of Stephanie (Joe) Gries and Christina (Darryl Lawson) Drozek. Cherished great-grandfather of Joey and Harmony Gries.

Ron dedicated 51 years of his life to a distinguished career in federal service, serving in various capacities, including Sky Marshal, airport security, and U.S. Customs Inspector. Outside of his professional life, Ron had a passion for gardening and took great pride in tending to his beloved "mini farm." He also had a special love for his dogs and enjoyed the simple pleasures of spending time outdoors.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 3:00-8:00 PM at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 19604 Wolf Road, Mokena, IL 60448. Funeral services will commence on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 9:30 AM at the funeral home, proceeding to St. Mary Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the TLC Animal Shelter, Tinley Park PAWS or the Gary Sinise Foundation would be appreciated.
