Richard Leroy "Lee" Golick, age 89, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2025.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, to Julian Golick and Mary Kruzich, Lee lived a full and loving life rooted in family, hard work, and quiet devotion. He met the love of his life, Lisbeth "Sue" Golick, at Paddock Lake in Wisconsin. The two were married on January 2, 1960, and shared 65 wonderful years together, raising their sons in the Chicagoland area.

Lee was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sue; sons Gregory A. (Donna) Golick and Bradley P. (Lulin) Golick; and grandchildren Bronte Golick (Robert Allen), Dean Golick, and Brett (Lauren) Golick. He is also fondly remembered by many extended family members and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Mary Golick, and his brother and sister in law Edward J. and Betty Golick.

A public viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Vandenberg Funeral Home in Tinley Park. A service will follow at 12:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Steven Hoerger

Burial will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
