Raymond M. Morrisroe, age 85, late of Orland Park, IL, passed away March 9, 2026. Raymond was a longtime parishioner of St. Mary Church in Mokena. He earned his bachelor's degree from Loyola University Chicago and had a lifelong curiosity and love of learning. Raymond enjoyed researching topics that interested him and was especially fond of trains and automobiles. A dedicated hobbyist, he spent many happy hours building and collecting model trains and reading about railroad history.
He loved spending time with his grandchildren and cherished the moments they shared together. Raymond was also an avid Chicago sports fan who enjoyed watching the Bears, White Sox, and Cubs. Raymond valued friendship and companionship and enjoyed going out to eat and spending time with his longtime friends. He will be remembered for his inquisitive mind, his hobbies and passions, and the love he had for his family.
Beloved husband of Marilynn K. Morrisroe (nee Sullivan) for 38 years. Cherished stepfather of Kathy McKinzie, Karen (Steve) May, Patti (Rich) Stevens, Jim Aldworth, Bob (Sara) Aldworth. Loving grandfather of Jeff (Kina), Katie, Melanie, Sonya, Nora, Megan, Greta, Kevin, and Liam. Caring brother of the late Maureen (Frank) Johnson and late Patsy (Jim) Mauloff. Kind uncle of several nieces and nephews.
