Mary F. Jordan

Mary F. Jordan, age 90, of the Orland and Tinley Park area, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2025.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late Robert C. Jordan. She was a devoted mother to Steven, Edward and his wife Marilyn, and Joseph and his wife Arna. Mary was a proud grandmother to Brandon (Melanie), Kalie, Cameron (Chelsea), Ella, and Liam, and a loving great-grandmother to Rosalyn, Miriam, and Georgia.

She was the cherished daughter of the late William and Olive Moorhead and a dear sister to Patricia. Mary was also a special aunt to many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Mary's heart was always with her family. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, planting flowers in the spring, listening to music, getting lost in a good book, and, of course, a good day of shopping. Her warm smile and generous spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

A service to celebrate Mary's life will be held on Thursday, June 26 at 12 o'clock noon at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 Harlem Avenue, Tinley Park, Illinois. Visitation will start at 10 am until the hour of service. Burial will follow at Mount Vernon Cemetery in Lemont, Illinois.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
