Margaretha Setter nee Schmuttermeier was born into life in Emmersacker, Germany on July 23, 1938 and passed away peacefully in her home. Beloved wife of Jakob Setter. Loving mother of Doris Setter and the late Wolfgang Setter. Adoring grandmother of Jessica Krohn and Alex DeLeon. Great grandmother to Lucas and Kailyn Winkle. Caring sister of Thea, Marrianne, Renate and the late Clara. Funeral Service Tuesday December 12, 2017 1:00 PM at the Vandenberg Funeral Home 19604 S. Wolf Road Mokena, IL. 60448. Interment in St. Mary Mokena, IL. Margaretha resided in Mokena for 57 years. She loved her family, her pets Heidi and Tiger. Was an excellent seamstress, cook and baker. She loved to travel, hike, garden and dance. Margaretha was warm, kind, smart and funny. In lieu of flowers donations to Joliet Area Hospice 250 Water Stone Circle Joliet, IL 60431.
