Margaret Halvorsen

Margaret Ann Halvorsen, affectionately known as "Marge", 96, late of Crestwood, IL. formerly of Midlothian, IL. Beloved wife of the late John Halvorsen. Loving mother of Cathy Halvorsen, Mark (Michele) Halvorsen, Paul (Angie) Halvorsen. Proud grandmother of Jordan, Brandon, Luke, Jessica, and Zach. Dear sister of Betty (late Jack) Hanlon, Jerry (Ann) Koch, the late Tom (Gerri) Koch. Caring aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Marge was a devoted longtime parishioner of St. Christopher Catholic Church. She enjoyed bowling and took great pride in crocheting afghans, lovingly gifting them to family members

Visitation will be held Monday, May 19, 2025, 3:00-8:00 PM at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 Harlem Avenue Tinley Park, IL. Funeral, Tuesday, 9:15 AM at the Funeral Home to St. Damian Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
