Louis R. Bernicky born October 18, 1934 in Joliet, IL. Passed away September 11, 2016. Lived in Mokena, IL for 54 yrs. Survived by his loving wife of 60 yrs. Joan M. Bernicky nee Yahnke, 3 wonderful sons Christopher of Frankfort, IL, Louis III of Mokena, IL and Alan (Tiffany Walpole) of New Lenox, IL. Proud grandfather of Ashley, Brandon, Mackenzie and Alex Bernicky. Great grandfather of Cavela Bernicky. Caring brother of Gerald (Donna), Paul Bernicky of Kankakee, IL, Ann Fredrickson of Kingdom, MO, Cleo Menser of Manteno, IL, Teresa and Mary Ann Bernicky of Pegram, TN. Fond uncle of many nieces and Nephews. Dear friend of Bill and Flo Anderson of Mokena, IL. Preceded in death by a son and daughter; Louis and Joan; parents Louis J. (Patricia) Bernicky of Joliet, IL; sister Nancy (Jim) Wheeler of Edwardsville, IL. Louis attended Joliet Catholic H.S. He worked for Meadow Gold Dairy of Joliet, IL for 28 yrs and Andrew Corp of Orland Park, IL for 12 yrs. He was a member of Indian Creek Ranch Club and Rainbow Fishing Club. Louis was an avid fisherman and had many friends and he will sadly missed. Memorial mass will be held Friday September 23, 2016 at St. Mary Church 19515 115th Ave Mokena, IL. 60448 at 11:30 AM.
