Keith S. Wrobel, age 73, late of Tinley Park, IL, passed away March 18, 2026. Parishioner of St. Stephen Deacon and Martyr Church in Tinley Park, IL. Keith attended Roosevelt University, where he obtained his master's degree in information systems and DePaul University where he obtained his bachelor's in accounting and computer science.
Keith was a Chief Financial Officer at Chicago Airlines Terminal Consortium. He devoted more than 30 years to higher education, serving as a computer science professor at Robert Morris University and Roosevelt University, where he was highly regarded for his expertise and dedication to his students. Keith worked at several nonprofit organizations as well during his life.
Keith was an avid golfer and a loyal Chicago sports enthusiast. In his leisure time, he enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and crime dramas. Above all, he treasured the time he spent with his family, with a special devotion to his beloved granddaughter. He will be greatly missed.
Beloved husband of Donna Wrobel (nee Skuta) for 48 years. Loving father of Jason (Cristina) and Ashley (Devin). Cherished grandfather of Quorra. Caring brother of Karen (Don) Kress, Gail (Mike) Heneghan, Craig (Anne) Wrobel, and Cheryl (Steve) Scantlen. Dear son of the late Edwin and late Dorothy Wrobel. Kind uncle of several nieces and nephews.
Visitation, Sunday, March 22, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 S. Harlem Ave. Tinley Park, IL 60447. Prayers at the Funeral Home, Monday, March 23, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. to St. George Church for 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass, 6707 175th St. Tinley Park, IL 60477.
