Kathy Thomas

Kathy L. Thomas, 62, late of Mokena. Beloved wife of Chuck Thomas. Loving mother of Andrew (Erin) Reddicks and Jessica (Spencer) Gross. Proud and caring grandmother of Winter and Violet Reddicks. Cherished daughter of the late Alfred and Gloria Bitz. Dear sister of Daniel (Lynn) Bitz, Susan (Rick) Sidlowski, and Mary Ann Bitz. Caring aunt and great aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Kathy was a woman of many passions and quiet strength. She was an accomplished black powder pistol shooter, proudly winning a shooting contest with her steady hand and sharp aim. She loved spending time outdoors-gardening, fishing, and enjoying the peace of nature. Kathy was also a talented seamstress, a savvy garage sale thrifter, and someone who found beauty and value in the overlooked. She had a special place in her heart for Cadillacs, especially her cherished 1992 Sedan Seville. Kathy's wit, independence, and resourceful spirit will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday May 31, 2025, 1:00 PM until time of Chapel Serivce 6:00 PM at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 19604 Wolf Road Mokena, IL. 60448. Interment will be private.
