US Army Korean War Veteran, longtime Chicago Public School Teacher, Chicago and Illinois Hall of Fame Basketball Coach. Loving husband of Barbara (née Gornick), adoring father of John (Nancy), Timothy (Pamela), Katherine (Dick), late Elizabeth, Thomas, Mary, Terrence (Jennifer), Patrick (Lisa), many Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren. Visitation Wednesday, 3:00-8:00 PM at Vandenberg Funeral Home Mokena.
Funeral Thursday, 9:30 AM at the Vandenberg Funeral Home, 19604 Wolf Road. Mokena, IL. 60448 to St. Mary Church, Mass 10:00 AM. Interment to follow with full Military Honors in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
