Hugh O. Doyle, age 78, late of Monee, Illinois; native of Ballnuhagh, Shillelagh, County Wicklow, Ireland.

Beloved husband of Mona (née Travers). Loving father of Declan (Evgenia Vavoulas), Fiona (Mark) Hanly, and Hugh. Proud grandfather of Aisling, Caitriona, Madelyn, Kieran, Liam, Joseph, and Ava.

Dear brother of Peter (Rosemary), James (Theresa), Thomas (Eileen), John (Patricia), Patrick, Timothy, and Declan (Terri); Anne (Dermot) Scully; and the late Eileen (Charlie) McCarthy and the late Mick (Anne) Doyle. Fond brother-in-law of Maureen (the late James) Halpin, Una (Eamon) Malone, and the late Sheila (the late John) Kenny. Kind uncle to many nieces and nephews and friend to all.

Proud member of St. Brendan's Gaelic Football Club and Chicago Gaelic Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Misericordia Heart of Mercy.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 25, 2026, at St. Stephen Deacon & Martyr Catholic Church, 17500 84th Avenue, Tinley Park, Illinois, from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park, Illinois.
