Harry Payne Miller

Harry P. Miller, Born on April 5, 1940 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, died on March 25, 2017 in Chicago in Hospice, JourneyCare at Rush Hospital. Preceded in death by his parents Harry Payne Miller and Catherine Costello Miller, and brother Terrence Costello Miller. Survived by his sister Kathleen and brother-in-law James Schlegel of Mokena, and his nephews James Terrence Schlegel and John Schlegel. Harry has lived in Chicago at 150 West Maple for the last twenty years. Prior to that he was a resident of Forest Hills, NY. He is a graduate of St. Johns University (New York). He was a sergeant in the U.S Army and served in Vietnam in 1968-1969 with the 75th Ranger Regiment. He was awarded the Bronze Star for his service. Visitation Wednesday March 29, 2017, 9:00 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, Mokena, IL. Interment to follow in St. Mary Cemetery Mokena.
