George Edward Walsh age 79 of Mokena passed away suddenly on January 21st 2019 in his home. George was born in Chicago Illinois to George and Mildred (nee Mumford) Walsh on July 30th 1939.
Preceded in death by his sister Jean (nee Walsh) Magiera, his son Dale R. Walsh, his daughter Kathryn A. (nee Walsh) Reid, his daughter Sherry Walsh.
George is survived by his sister, Delores (nee Walsh) Jessel, his loving girlfriend, Jennifer Anthony, his daughters Christine (nee Walsh) Applegate, Kimberly (nee Walsh) Bottema, and Lauren Walsh, his 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He loves spending time with his family and friends. He loved cars, motorcycles and any project he could get his hands on. He will be greatly missed by so many people. Visitation Friday January 25, 2019, at the Vandenberg Funeral Home 19604 S. Wolf Road Mokena, IL. 2:00 PM until time of Service 6:00 PM. Interment will be private.
