Edward Kondracki

Edward J. Kondracki, 74, late of Tinley Park, IL. Beloved husband of 55 years to the late Susan Kondracki. Loving father of Kristi (Andy) Bednarczyk, Jennifer Kondracki, Tiffany (James) Summers, and Douglas (Ashley) Kondracki. Proud grandfather of Nathan, Ethan, and Braedan Bednarczyk, Laila and Madalyn Summers, and Layla Rodriguez. Dear brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Ed was a dedicated member of Carpenters Local 54 for over 50 years, taking immense pride in his craft and the life he built for his family. He was a familiar face at the Tinley Park Dog Park, where he enjoyed spending time daily, and an expert-level Sudoku player who never backed down from a challenge. He faithfully watched the same old western movies, loved catching softball games, and never missed an opportunity to watch the Chicago White Sox — or anyone playing the Cubs. Ed also had a way of never quite reading the room, often slipping a joke or wisecrack into moments when no one expected it, which somehow became part of his charm and left those around him smiling.

More than anything, he cherished being present for his grandkids activities and all their milestones, always offering quiet support and encouragement.

Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 Harlem Avenue, Tinley Park, IL.
