Dorothy Ogos

June 18,2024, God welcomed Dorothy (nee Madenis) Drogos into her heavenly home and into his loving arms. Dorothy was born on February 5, 1954, to the late John and Aldona Madenis.

Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 51 years Jeff whom she met in kindergarten. Dorothy is the beloved mother of Danny and Jenny (Tom). Her greatest pride and loves are her three grandchildren Lexi, her “dolly” Noelle and Tommy. Dorothy is survived by her sister Janice (Carmen) and many nieces and nephews.

Dorothy enjoyed crafts, sewing, cooking, baking and gardening. She loved spending every moment she could with her family. No matter the situation, Dorothy always found a way to see the brighter side in life. She would often remind us to pray on it and “put it in God’s hands for him to handle”.

Dorothy fought a very hard and courageous battle with COPD. She always found a way to keep her spirits high even when the fight was getting harder. Towards the end she knew a heavenly reunion with her mom Aldona and her three brothers Kenny, Johnny and Eddie awaited her.

Dorothy adored her family and would tell them that “when the day comes and I am no longer physically here, always know I will still be right beside you and my love will never leave.”
