Age 86, late of Tinley Park, IL.

Beloved husband of Bette Graefen (née Bechstein). Loving father of Charles D. (Loretta), Scott (Darlene), and Jeff (Chris) Graefen. Proud and caring grandfather of Lauren, Nicole, George, Oscar, Amber, CJ, and Charlie, and cherished great-grandfather of five. Dear brother of Edward Graefen and the late Ann Parker. Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Chuck was owner of C. Graefen & Sons Excavating for 53 years, his dedicated work ensured he could enjoy a well-earned retirement. He and Bette cherished the past 25 years in Ft. Myers Beach, Florida, where Chuck loved boating, fishing, and embracing the snowbird lifestyle.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, 3:00-8:00 PM at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 Harlem Avenue Tinley Park, IL. 60477. Chapel Service will commence Thursday 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Tinley Park Memorial Cemetery.
