Arthur T. Garrett, late of Tinley Park, IL. US Navy WWII Veteran, Founder and co-owner of the “World Famous Garrett’s Ice Cream”. Beloved husband of the late Lucille Garrett nee Franklin. Beloved father of Timothy L. (Denice) Garrett, Carol (Charles) Hargrove, Gail (Richard) Haven, Franklin (Joan) Garrett, Daniel (Sally) Garrett. Dear grandfather of Adelheid (Joseph) Connolly, Karl (Angela) Garrett, Douglas (Tina) Pike, Ammie Pike, Jason (Kristen) Haven, Brittany (William) Barmes, Brianna Garrett, Brenton Garrett. Great grandfather of Lillian Connolly, Colman Connolly, Davis Garrett, Dustin Haven, Hunter Haven, Austin Haven, James Barmes, Maxwell Barmes, and Titus Barmes. Preceded in death by his parents Barney and Lillian and siblings, Elizabeth Mickelson, Ruth Wacker, and Sophie Garrett. Among the many jobs he was a Tinley Park Part-Time Police Officer.
