Alexander T. Miklos
November 8, 1940 — August 22, 2021
Alexander T. Miklos, 80, of Peotone, IL, passed peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday August 23, 2021.
He leaves his wife, Joan Miklos (Murphy), 2 sons, Alex Miklos and Mike Miklos (Nikki Miklos) and 3 beloved grandchildren, Mandy, Max and Scotty, and his sister Susan (Jerry) Ligman. He was preceded in death by his parents Alexander W. Miklos and Susan T. Miklos (McPhillips).
Al was a “Legend’ in the horse world, a true horseman, as a barrel racer and horse trainer. He inspired and was the mentor to countless people. He was a character and spoke his mind, yet all knew he had their best interest at heart. Al leaves a legacy that will be hard to replace.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 19604 Wolf Road, Mokena, IL. on Wednesday August 25, 2021 from 4pm-8pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Al’s memory may be made to, Chasing Cans for Cancer. This is a local 2 day horse event Al supported, www.chasingcansforcancer.org .
